Spent a few weeks in Denver in 2003 and I didn't like it at all except they had some cool computer book stores there. Traffic sucked bigtime, and unllike Seattle or other cities, you need a car to get around. Lots of suburbia, fry pits and homogonized strip malls, no thank you.
Never been to Cincinnati.
Arizona is nice but housing costs are escalating rapidly, and you have to drive miles and miles to get anywhere.
North Carolina is sweet and I'd rather live in Raleigh area than Charlotte. And they serve sweet and unsweetened tea in restaurants (at least they did, back years ago), just like they did in Alabama.
