The suspect behind what police called the largest methamphetamine lab ever found in Mecklenburg County may have been prepping another south Charlotte apartment for production of meth.
Police went to arrest Eva Piatt Thursday for setting up a mobile “meth lab” in a gym bag at her old apartment near South Boulevard. They located her at her boyfriends Johnston Road area home. There, police said Piatt had gathered ingredients that could be used for making meth again.
Piatt had been banned from her apartment on Knights Bridge Road earlier this month for setting up a meth lab. When police busted her on August 15 she was ordered to have the home cleaned up and was not allowed to live their anymore.
A week later police said Piatt returned to her home on Knights Bridge, but not to clean it up. Neighbors called in reports of a suspicious odor and police found a portable meth lab in a gym bag.

Eva Piatt is suspected by police of possibly beginning the set up of a third meth lab in a months time.
