The one on the left is the Japanese box. The right is the American one. For the first time I can remember, we get better box art. We're also given a renaming that was unnecessary and lame.

The sequel to Intelligent Qube, the rarest PS1 game. Third only in Ebay value to Suikoden II and Valkyrie profile.

I've played this new game and it is good. Very good. Essentially you're in a room and you have to get from one door to the next. VERY well suited for the PSP and a title I've been looking forward to since launch. The following screenshot explains nearly everything you need to know:

Also, you can upload scores for each stage to a world database of scores.

It'll be good wholesome fun that will easily frustrate people. My type of gaming.

I'll have to give this game a try sometime. Seems like the type of thing I would enjoy.

Looks interesting.  Are there any other types of puzzles, or do they just give you increasingly complexly shaped boxes to stack?

There are laser puzzles, security guard puzzles and a number of other ones. It gets increasingly more difficult. But the core game is always - get to the other door.

I'm also a fan of the GTA series, so it pained me a bit to see Liberty City Stories come out for the PSP, assuming that they won't port it to the PC.

And Lumines sounded cool.

And I generally like the idea of a portable movie player, if not the idea of paying extra money to get PSP versions of DVDs I've already bought, but I hear they have ways around that nowadays.

I was on the verge of getting a PSP, actually, until I saw that the DS was half the price.  That clinched it.   tongue

Hehe, I still have a PS1 demo disk kicking around somewhere with Intelligent Qube on it i think.  I also own a copy of Valkyrie Profile.  I really wish I could find a copy of Suikoden 2, but I will be damned if I am going to Ebay for it.

Yea, I have that demo disc also, but not the original game. IQ is supposedly getting a PSP re-release anyway, As is Valkyrie Profile. Suikoden is getting re-releases in Japan. We might get a comp disc here. Anyway, I've just come to accept the fact that games are too easy to re-release and the best way to bring around a re-release is to have exorbitant ebay prices.
