Why is it that I just feel most roleplayers, especially those who roleplay on a server-wide message board, would shut the fuck up if they either: 1) got a good deep dicking, or 2) got that hug from daddy they wanted? |

Being an RPer myself (keke), I gotta admit some "forum whore" RPers need either a close encounter with a car fire or forced removal of their intarweb access. What they don't seem to grasp is that RPing is supposed to be ACTING in-character INGAME, not posting 20 pages of not-work-or-brain-safe pron on the forums. Sadly, by posting crap like that, they perpetuate the stupid stereotype of all RPers being carebear 40-year old obese virgins living in their mom's basement with sailor moon posters on their walls. Or whatever the current stereotype is.
BTW, RP is a lot of fun when doing it in a game that supports it (UO and to a lesser extent SWG, too bad about the suck), but WOW sucks for RP, all level-based games do, imo.
(yes, I play on a pvp server. RP can't exist without pvp.)

Tales of a Tailor.Marion...Marion...What was mudder thinkin. She was thinkin she wanted a daughter to become a seamstress like her dats what she was thinkin. Instead she had me. But after 6 months of becomin attached to da name Marion, she done gave it to me.
Now everyday is the same, Marion da tailor... Marion da sissy... Marion da gurly boy. Godz I hates dat name. An it dont help mudder gots me makin dresses. So forgive me ifn I pick their pockets after they calls me names. Dey didnt need dat money no how. Hope mudder dont finds out, she will smack me good.
Den one day it hits me. I needs a new name... a name dat a rogue would respect and a target would fear. Backstabber...nah too many B's. Gutslicer... nah makes me sound like a butcher not a tailor. Eyegouger... naw way to messy. I knows... dat wire thingie I saw dat master rogue use one day... yeah dat thingie. Now what's it called. Gharote, yes dats what its called... Gharote.
No longer will I be called Marion the Tailor. Now I will be known as Gharote the Rogue. Yes I likes it.

Roleplaying is like watching Star Trek. Sure it's nerdy, but plenty of people do it, and there's no reason you can't partake now and again while remaining a more or less normal human being. Then you see the freaks, the people who make it their whole lifestyle, and you're embarrassed to have had anything to do with it.
