Topic: Stupid game wont start, keeps asking for the damn CD (Read 1739 times)

Everytime i try to run the game it asks me to make sure "install disk 2" is inserted in the drive, ive tried both my cd drives with no luck. I uninstalled daemon tools since their support site said it could cause problems, i don't have alcohol 120 or any other warezy type programs that could be causing it now. Has anyone else run into this or know how to fix it?

Never had that problem unless "Install Disc 1" isn't in the drive. I wonder why yours says "Install Disc 2"?

Just get the NoCD crack like everyone else. I 100% condone the use of the NoCD crack on a game you have legitimately purchased.

BTW - You can use Daemon Tools with BF2 if you name your Daemon drivers something non-standard.

It says "Please ensure Battlefield 2 Install Disk is in the drive". So not disk 2, but the install disk, of Battlefield 2. The wording is less than perfect.
