Man Allegedly Bites Off Bar Owner's Finger
House Of Shamrock Scene Of Fight Friday

A man faces charges after biting off part of a bar owner's finger Friday.

Torrey Geoffrey, 27, allegedly bit off House of Shamrock owner Michael Wilds' fingertip after he asked a man in Geoffrey's group to leave the Hazel Park bar. The man had been previously banned from the premises, according to Wilds.

The Daily Tribune reported that Wilds was taken to St. John Oakland Hospital for a "bone shortening" procedure on his right pinky finger where the tip was bitten off below the first joint. The fingertip was recovered, police said.

Hazel Park Detective Lt. Michael Kolp told the newspaper that two of the three suspects were released, while the man who allegedly bit Wilds' finger has not been released.

Kolp said the trio were members of a motorcycle group called "Liberty Riders." Two of the suspects are from Hazel Park and a third lives in Warren, according to reports.
