Frankly I'm pleasantly surprised they had the foresight to make it server->server transfer rather than a FFA fest.

They don't let you transfer unless your server has high population.

So if your server is total shit, then you're stuck with it.

I was hoping it'd be a bit more less restrictive than this.  I guess they were serious when they said it was to just spread out the populations.

I don't think they are operating under the assumption that shit servers will stay that way. :P

And I also think the way it is done is the best way to achieve their main purpose. I believe, and I may be mistaken, but I believe I heard this is just the initial option, and they will be putting in normal transfers at a later date.

I would like to see a less restrictive form of this someday- maybe if/when they get all the tech issues hammered out, they will offer it for a fee. Be cool to be able to hook up with some of ya'll from other servers without starting at ground zero.
