I spoke too soon. Connection problems are back now that everybody is home from school and work. I was hoping the scheduled maintenance would resolve it. I'm down to my very last resort: contacting tech support.

Yeah, I just got kicked to the login screen for the first time since I started playing.
At this rate there is a good chance I'll cancel before the free month is up.

Blizzard posted to their forums last night at 12:52 am that the connectivity problems have been resolved. Can anybody confirm this?

1400 ms ping (I'm on a business class cable account w/35ms ping to google). I don't see this game lasting too much longer.

Have you tried another server? This is just all very curious, I haven't heard a single person in my guild complaining about connectivy problems. Well, except the poor souls that get stuck at authenticating (happened to me twice).
Anyhow, really, just quit. I mean, you sure sound like you want to. Do it, it's not hard. When AO didn't work for me (hell, it didn't work for anyone), I walked away. I forgot about the game in less time than it took wash my hands.

Yeah, if you've been around for a short while you should check out some new servers. You really have nothing to lose at this stage in your game.

It's working for me now. They clearly had some issue that they needed to resolve.
The problem with switching servers is that at this rate, there is no telling when "yours will be next." ER was one of the most reliable servers until this week, presumably because everybody else caught on and migrated to it.
