My remodel plans are finally lurching ahead (my task for the weekend is to clear everything out of my basement in preparation for foundation work), so in a few months I ought to have a respectable guest room.  Just saying.

Did this actually happen ?

Oh yes, it's on. Starting with 2 nights in Edinburgh (arriving late on August 28th),  through the Cairngorms to Elgin, up to the Orkneys, down on  the westcoast to Skye and Harris and then back via Loch Lomond to Edinburgh.
13 days in a rental with a tent in the trunk and of course B&B hopping. Seriously looking forward to it and if there is some demand I may even write up some experiences or at least post pictures. Thanks again for the input here!

Sounds like Bungee is following the path of Boswell and Johnson.
