I've avoided Grinch and Cat in the Hat, but this one actually looks fun.

The live action DR S movie adaptions are argueablly skippable. However, the CGI ones have for the most part been fairly good. Horton Hears a Who was quite well done from what i remember.

In my world everyone's a pony and they all eat rainbows — and poop butterflies! Best. Line. EVAR!

Just got done watching this. Good god...I can see how conservatives and libertarians would have flipped their lids over this movie. The book itself was, like Seuss' other books, a masterpiece. This one takes the book, cranks the message to 11, and then ramrods it in your face with the guilt.
I think the thing that disappointed me was that it didn't end like the book as a tragedy. No, they went and did a Scooby Doo ending, as if all the damage caused would just magically go away overnight. But whatever...the message was still strong, and compared to the other non-live action Seuss movies, I enjoyed it much.
