RPS had a write up saying that they liked it on the whole but it didn't blow them away (NPI). I am all down for it but will probably wait for Christmas sales or birthday next year as have a lot to get through atm.

A point can be MOOT. MUTE is more along the lines of what you should be. - WayAbvPar

I think syndicate wars was the first game (other than lemmings and frogger) that I really remember playing. It was a long time ago; I remember liking it, but that's really all I can remember about it. So if I went for this it would be almost entirely on the basis of fuzzy nostalgia.

The lack of multiplayer is what is steering me away. Syndicate was one of my favorite games. I loved playing with a friend and it might just be nostalgia, but it would be a lot of fun to do with my son.

It's fun, don't remember enough about syndicate to compare.  I'm bad a stealth but so far shooting my way in and out of places works fine.
