Anyone tried this? Its pretty cheap so I was thinking of buying a 4 pack for me and some friends. Looks like a fun game.  |

I've actually been meaning to make a post about this game. I preordered it and I can say I've got my moneys worth out of it. Multiplayer is fun in both co-op and vs. modes. Single player got old on me fairly quick, but I find myself firing the game up for a quick round alot. Game loads fast, looks nice, and is very much an arcade "get the highest score you can game" with some RPG elements and appealing graphics.
edit: should mention there are some bugs in multiplayer with crash issues, but due to the speed of load times and whatnot it didn't really bother me. One thing that did bother me was that you are very limited in your options when making a multiplayer game and that game doesn't seem to recognize when you want a private server and random pugs can join when you are trying to get your friends in. Also, no text chat that I could find. And you can't seem to kick any players from games you make.

Is the real game much different than the demo? I didn't find the demo very interesting.

You get the other modes: Co-Op, HOARD, and Princess Rush which are all interesting in their own right. You also get to play on different maps, some of which are harder, some of which are easier. It is a fun distraction, and every game lasts pretty much 10 minutes max (HOARD mode can go longer). |
