I trained up another alt for datacores but I don't have time to run missions and want to get her standing so I've concoted a plan but not sure if it is viable I'll refer to them as my main alt and secondary alt. I have setup a corporation with one member my main datacore alt who has standings of 7 with Kaalakiota. I ran a level 1 mission with her to kickstart the standing and now am waiting for the standing to update. Then I'll join my secondary alt who has no standings at all and use the corporation standing to collect datacores with her also but not sure if I'm doing it right?

The main things I need to know will the corp standing allow the neutral alt to research datacores?
Does it matter if my secondary alt has no standing at all with anyone?
Will it update in 7 days from joining the second alt with an averaged out staning and if so will she lose the agents, in other words can I join her use the standing and then bugger off and keep researching a kinda loophole?

Your input much appreciated.

You need personal standings with the agent in addition to either corp, personal or factional standings. In other words you will have to grind some regardless of how you do it, you may have the corp standings by doing what you say above but you will still need the personal standings. Best way is to have your datacore alt sign up for missions which he then shares with your main alt who completes them. Blitz missions as fast as you can and in about three nights of L3s you should be able to use any L4 agent you like.

Aye I've done the datacore grind twice before but don't really have time to do it at the moment. The alt in question lapses in a couple weeks so I'd like to get her researching as I'll be transferring her onto my main account.

As far as I was aware your personal standing with research agents is the same as your faction standing? and I know you can access jumpclones to certain factions using corp standing but the trick is not to run missions with the blank character as this will water down the overall corporation standing and fuck things up. I have also seen people selling membership for research corps with standings in trade/recruitment channels I should have asked what the trick was at the time still if anyone can fill me in what that's about feel free.

An ex-corpie of mine used to "rent" corp slots like this.
The trick was that either way, the research alt had to grind missions to gain personal standings, but was able to get started with L4 agents as per cumulative corp standings, without the nuiciance of running L1s-L3s.
Corp standings adjusted at downtime back then (I imagine, they still do), faction standings seem to have some different timer.

From what I have heard it now takes seven days for corp standings to change as per new membership.
