A team is about the investigate the never before seen Gamburtsev mountain range in the middle of Antarctica.  Never seen because the mountain peaks themselves are under 4km of ice.

Cthulu fans please prepare for a sudden eerie silence.

Quote

Somewhere in the Gamburtsev region there could be a location were it is possible to drill down to ices that are more than a million years old. This is at least 200,000 years older than the most ancient ices currently in the possession of scientists.

I'll see your David Duchovny and raise you one Tom Baker:

It was decent at first.  Second season of Atlantis went into the shitter.

I'll see your David Duchovny...

You've been outbluffed. David Duchovny? No, that's Kurt "'Mac' Macready" Russell in John Carpenter's The Thing if I'm not mistaken.

Which I'm not.

Because it is.

Shit, so it is. I wasted my Tom Baker card on a bluff! I shall console myself by watching The Thing drunk on Halloween.

I can put this here I guess.

It's an SA series from Zack Parsons with a humorous lovecraft angle and I thought it was really funny and concluded today.  Clavo means dangerous contraband like shivs and ninja turtles are corrections officers in riot gear.  It should be read in order.

Parsons is the best thing they have going over there. And I mean that in a good way.
