Wintergrasp is probably the thing I am most looking forward to for the expansion (new PvP options besides arenas and the same 4 BGs. YES PLEASE!).

Seems about half the f13 populace is in the beta, where is the info? Is it fun? Is it broken? TELLS ME!

I'm in the beta but I haven't been yet. I guess the destroyable walls and some of the geometry is still pretty buggy so people holding the fort so to speak have a lot of ways to hit-and-run back to cover.

I just hope there's some mechanic to stop the more populated side from winning every time.

Alliance outnumber horde on my server somewhere in the vicinity of 3 to 1.  I can't even remember the last time I saw Halaa being red on the map, I hope Wintergrasp doesn't end up the same way.

IIRC Wintergrasp gives a buff to whatever faction is outnumbered, and it gets bigger and bigger the larger the difference is.

They really, just need to ensure the losers are also well rewarded for the attempt.



On Beta, from what I've read, it's still very buggy. So hard to gauge what they've managed to come up with.

Wintergrasp, as advertised, is what I was hoping WoW PvP would be like from the start. A game of Warcraft III with the players as the units.

The other obvious issue is WTF goes to Nagrand once you've finished the quests or done your fire-ball daily? What seems to happen in Nagrand on Proudmoore is that when people see Horde attacking, we let them take over and do their turnins, then a raid forms, we all PVP one another for a bit, then we eventually win and Horde stop turning up.
