Here's the story, such as it is.  My favourite line:

If he'd learn to play a real guitar, he'd win some pussy.

Why am I homeless?  Why do all you motherfuckers need homes is the real question.

Yes, but they have to divide them in fourths.

Mahrin neglected to mention that you can only eat the top half of the sandwich which includes no bacon since the bottom half is hindered by a fucking piece of plastic or foam or some shit. Also, it's impossible to hold since the sandwich you receive is flush with the bag creating a terribly slick, frictionless surface.

And I remember when people used to quit school to practice REAL guitar, so they could be REAL rockstars.

I do enjoy, GH, but this kid is looking to make a max 80k a year if he's the very best.  Some of those kids who quits to practice real guitar went on to become multi-millionaires.

The term 'old' is not politically correct. The term is 'pre-console'.

 why so serious?

I'm very confused by this statement.  80k is more than most college grads make.  Currently he is being paid in chicken sandwiches, which is pretty far off from even minimum wage...

I believe he is suggesting that if the kid became one of the best GH Players in the world, he might make 80k. As opposed to what you could make being one of the best guitar players in the world.

Also, Chick-fil-a or whatever the hell it is, is the most nonsensical name for a restaurant I've ever heard. I know its a huge chain, but it still sounds ridiculous.

I'm normally not one to condone censorship but if this could lead to a law banning Guitar Hero I'm all for it.

Spawned from The Dwarf House, which I happen to know where the first one is (and thus first Chik-Fil-A).  Which is worse?

I guessed you missed the word "MAX", as in THE BEST OF THE BEST PLAYERS.  Comparing that to "most college grads" is utterly retarded.  Also, the article indicated that someone who was making that level of cash would playing Halo 2.  There have been plenty of shitty guitar players who have made way more than that.

I hope that cleared up your high level of confusion.

He's making chicken sandwiches in pay and you think he could make 80k a year playing GH?

No, I'm still confused.  Are you cheering him on?

He could make $80k in chicken sandwiches. That's like 26,000 sandwiches, maybe throw some tenders in there for 2nd place finishes.

You are obviously not currently confused because you appear to be playing both sides of the argument.  It seems that you made a mistake in your original reply and are now trying to backtrack.

Yeah, but try convincing your landlord to let you pay rent in chicken sandwiches.  If you can do that, you are my (guitar) hero!

The Halo 2 person quoted estimated making $25k over eight years.  Most college grads can average that in one.

A best buy high-schooler can get that in a year.

A godaddy high school dropout can make twice to three times that in a year.
