Gears of War justified the purchased of the 360 for me. Through all its faults, I still have a lot of love of that first one and was anxiously awaiting word of a second.

Seems like there was a decent amount of 360 related stuff shown (Too Human, Fable 2, Ninja Gaiden 2 got a release date, Gears of War 2), but I hear that Sony has a fairly small presence at GDC this year (especially compared to back when they announced Home at last years GDC).

Am I the only one who didn't like the constant repetitiveness of move into room, crouch behind object, fire over shoulder till all the enemies which look exactly the same are dead, move to next room, repeat.  Hell I found it more repetitive than Jericho, because at least Jericho had more interesting weapons and creatures.

Granted, I only played GoW about a month ago, so maybe it's the combination of hype + lateness of playing, but I thought it was awful.

You have the shortest attention span on this board I think.  No wonder disc changing is such an issue for you. 

I've yet to play GoW more than about 30 minutes at schild's house.  I couldn't get used to the control scheme.  Why the hell isn't it a platinum title yet? I'm not going to play $60 for it or $45 for someone's snot encrusted cast off.

Seriously, you have no idea how shot his attention span is. We played wow together. I think he must of had about 10 characters in the guild. That and the disk swap thing is just wacky 

Anyway, any time you want to play coop GoW Raz I would be down, I still want to beat the hardest difficulty level. Once you get to the second difficulty level is where you can see the game really take shape. Those monsters get really nasty, and you have to be very good moving from cover to cover.

It's platinum over here. I'd have thought it would be plat where you are long before here.
