Anyone know of an app, other than photoshop, for pinpointing locations and travel paths that can do transatlantic stuff. Working on a project and no application I can find will do it in a nice cohesive, dynamic (can pick which path to show, etc) way.
 Anyone know of one?

You need something that can chart a route across oceans, like something that accounts for driving some part, taking a train another part, a boat or plane for the third, and mass-transit/car when landing?
I don't know of anything that can do that, but I'm curious as well. I'd end up combining Google Maps with Expedia or Orbitz probably.

You could always just use the measuring tool to draw a line from point-to-point. |

Use this software daily, well the ArcGIS version.  I can spec out any type of mapping need, just give me the details. |

Our superior intellect and spatial awareness at work. We have the world best school for carrier pigeons, where they learn to navigate via the earths magnetic field FROM US. That, or Schenkenfelden is a small village with 1500 people, and Schild is actually how one of seven areas of the village is called. The cities name is "Tavern in the field", I'm in awe that google Earth even found it.    |
