Mount & Blade big update

Thanks to Yegolev for the heads up, everyone's favourite indy peasant-skewering game has had a major update.  List of changes can be found here http://forums.taleworlds.net/index.php/topic,26290.0.html

Some of the cool things I can see

* Sieges!
* Own and manage fiefs
* Renown - become famous
* Villages and battles can be fought in them (complete with burning villages)
* Looting and pillaging
* Up to 72 people in a battle
* Reworked archery
* A trackable killcount
* Updated blood effects
* Units can form simple battle formations

This sounds fantastic - lets hope it all works :)

I downloaded it, but I just couldn't get into it.

I think I've exhausted the game play fun, and until they add in some strong narrative I probably won't get engrossed again.

I'd try out the Last Days mod. It includes such perks as... being able to win.
