wants a greif tittle

Ok, so I work at an image agency and all that jazz, so I know a lot about pictures, but I dont really know shit about cameras. Anyway, I dont need any thing super high powered. What im looking for is some thing that takes decent pictures, that has a pretty short "shot time" and is very small. My old digital camera had a horrible shot time. From when I would click the button it could take upward of 5 seconds to take the shot, so I constantly got these weird shots of people turning away cause they thought the picture was already taken.

I looked on cnet, and none of the reviews seemed very good.

These are some of the ones I was looking at:

Nikon Coolpix S200.
The review for this one said in any sort of low light condition it had horrible shot time. But it is very small and sleek, which I like. Also cheap at around $199.

Sony Cyber Shot DSC-t10
This one got a much better review, and looks good, but the user reviews are horrible.

Canon PowerShot SD800 IS
Also decent reviews, but nothing special.

So anyone have any other optsion or ideas for me?

Thanks,

I think I have the T10 (T something that looks exactly like that). I love it, but it takes slow pictures, so, even with the stability shot thingy on, I get blur :(

It could just be me though, my brother took a bunch of pictures with it and it was fine for him.

That was the one I was planning on getting, but then I read the user reviews, and they all slammed it. Basically for the same reasons you just said.

Ya, the whole reason I got it was for the stability shot's ability to let you take shots while moving around.

The Sony DSC-H9 is all kinds of awesome.

Pros:
8MP. 15X optical zoom. Night shot. Macro (closeup) setting. Movable LCD (you can hold it at arms length above your head and look straight up at the LCD). Takes an hour of video at 640x480 w/ a 4 gig card. Direct HD output. Takes up to an 8GB memory stick pro duo. Menu is nice. Very very light.

Cons:
Battery has to be removed to be recharged. Uses Memory stick pro duo. Zoom button can easily be hit by accident. The lens moves when powered up.

That's not a pocketable camera unless you are going for that retro 80s cargo pants look.

Pfft. You don't have a null volume magic pouch yet? Not my problem.

I'm marvelously content with my Canon SD series compact camera. The battery lasts for ever, it has a 'dumb' point and click mode, but also a very detailed customizeable mode. I carry it with me every day on a hip holster next to my cell phone, and I barely notice it. It plugs into my computer with a USB cable and the software that comes with it downloads either all or only the newly detected photos, sorting them into folders arranged by date automatically.

The 'tweaking' photo software is a bit bare bones, but I'm not really into that, so its fine for my tastes.

I should get back to nature, too.  You know, like going to a shop for groceries instead of the computer.  Maybe a condo in the woods that doesn't even have a health club or restaurant attached.  Buy a car with only two cup holders or something. -Signe

We have had a two Cybershots over the last 5 years. Excellent camera. I have never owned a different digital camera, though.

I have never played WoW.
