It was AvP that allowed you to pin body parts to walls.

Fucking great game, that.  The follow up was a little weaker IMO.  The aliens were turned into total pussies.

Not my sort of game, but I really enjoyed the article.  I'm thinking of getting this one for my nephew.

Yes.  I think you could do that in AvP2.  I do remember blowing off a human's head with a shotgun and subsequently finding a jawbone on the floor.  That game was so close to amazing, yet so far.

I wouldn't have minded a bit more commentary on the leapers - I'm sure you had a few choice words while you were playing.  I know I did.

I'm not complaining, though.  Some things might be better for people to experience on their own.   :-D
