Title: Marvel's launches it's new digital comics section
Post by: Velorath on December 14, 2005, 05:28:52 PM
Ok, forget for a minute that they already had those "dotcomics" which they pretty much abandoned a long while back.  Now realizing that digital comics are "teh future", Marvel launched their digital comic section (http://www.marvel.com/digitalcomics/catalog/catalog.htm) with Friendly Neighborhood Spider-man #1, Captain America #1 (current vol.), She-Hulk #1, and Franklin Richards: Son of a Genius In "Tons of Fun".

If Marvel continues to support this, and uses it to promote new titles that people might not otherwise pick up than I think this will be a good move for Marvel.  More than likely though, I expect Marvel to just forget about digital comics in about 6 months or so.
