Title: Stephen King possibly writing Dark Tower GN for Marvel Post by: Velorath on October 26, 2005, 06:10:17 PM For those who don't know, at Marvel's presentation at the San Diego Comic-Con over the summer, among other things they showed a teaser image of the word "KING" against a black background. Since then, there have been rumors that Stephen King was going to do some work for Marvel. Now UK website PN Online (http://www.publishingnews.co.uk/pn/pno_ff2005_daytwo_news5.asp) reports that King is working on a graphic novel that will be the next volume of the Dark Tower series.
Now I'm not a huge Stephen King fan, but if nothing else I think this would be a very good move on Marvel's part in that it's the kind of thing that could help expand the comic market. This still seems like just rumor at this point, but hopefully there's at least some truth to it.
