The only possible way to get me to watch this is if it was a snuff show. Or maybe pervasive nudity.

Wife wanted to watch this so we gave it a shot. Didn't make it through the first episode. :ye_gods: Utter dreck.

Utter dreck, sure...but Jodie Sweetin just tosses her huge boobs out there for the audience for most of the episode, so it's not a total loss.  :why_so_serious:

Other than that...it's pretty painful.

My wife had this on when I came home the other night. After about a minute or two I was prepared to chuck something at the TV.

I don't think we are the ones they aimed this show at.  Umm.. unless you all actually watched Full House.   :oh_i_see:

I did watch Full House, I was a kid back then and TV choices where limited.

This was fucking horrible.  I thought I would give it a go, to laugh at not with, but couldn't make it through 10 minutes.

Same here. And this was still bad.

Strazos, that was easily the high point of the show.

I was like 13-14 when this came out.. so I was too busy smoking weed and being a D&D nerd.   :awesome_for_real:

Same here. The first few seasons weren't completely terrible but it sure got awful in the later ones. I can't imagine anyone would go into this who felt like that expecting anything different since in all of the cast interviews the later seasons were the favorite of the people making it...

I like that Netflix is getting into sitcoms. I just wish that if they were going to remake an oldie, they could have done something better. Maybe Perfect Strangers or Family Matters?

Here's the best part of the show, as shared with me by my wife.

Thanks for sparing me the trouble of finding it on my own. Christ knows I wasn't going to watch for it.

Boyo, Family Matters would be terrible.

Family Matters was terrible even in the original run. Evidence is how much the show changed until it became, "Urkel and Carl's wacky adventures."

Good shows don't mysteriously disappear half the cast over three years.

I was in high school and college when both Family Matters and Full House were big. They were both terrible, horrible fucking shows that I am sorry a great deal of Americans grew up watching. Why anyone would want to remake, reboot or create a sequel to any of them besides trying to stop sucking dick to pay for crack is beyond me.

Ok, fine, at least bring back Perfect Strangers.

I miss Balki

I dug Perfect Strangers when it started, but let's face it. That show would not work without Bronson Pinchot (or a young Yakov Smirnov). Also, would probably suck if brought into modern times.

Like Television, quality and reviews don't matter, only viewer numbers.  They got enough curious views to justify the 2nd season, which should have been a given. We'll see if it gets enough to justify a 3rd.

I couldn't watch family shows like this when I was growing up.  They were like some sort of weird creepy made up families.  Where was all the shouting and punching?  Why did they seem to like each other all the time?  Where was all the alcohol and drugs?

These are all the reasons I preferred Married with Children over dreck like Full House.

Roseanne was the best family sitcom if you wanted a 'real' family.
