It makes a great trailer but it's going to come down to whether K&P can keep some sort of narrative flow going through what will have to be a 90 minute sketch show.

Title: Re: KEANU Post by: Merusk on May 04, 2016, 09:06:12 AM It was really fun but I felt it was weaker than their sketches. In all it felt really watered-down and lacked the punch of the show. I'm going to blame the Hollywood decision-chain here.
1) The love interest was a bit hamfisted and obvious, as was the resolution. 2) There were several slow spots where I felt like there had been some setup but a joke wasn't delivered. 3) The wife's story really should have gone another direction. It, too, felt weak and unfulfilled in its original premise. |
