He was cool and weird and one of my secret favorites (since most of my friends designated him too odd to be a true rocker - yeah yeah, bad friends, but I was 8).

He had to go sometime, and I'm having trouble feeling bad about his death, seeing as he manage to pull off a new release 3 days before he went. Will I miss him? Of course, but at the same time, I can't help feel some contentment in knowing someone did the whole 'life' thing rather well, to the end.
