Title: One Finger Death Punch Post by: Maven on January 20, 2015, 01:02:32 PM This is fun. Stick figure Kung Fu fast-paced tapping game. Crazy good. The idea is you have to hit left or right to knock down opponents, which progresses in difficulty through faster attacks and more complicated left-right combinations. The game flows smooth as silk and is responsive in a way I continually underestimate.
The graphics and music are top-notch. It features a long grind to unlock new items and abilities, tied into a persistent system with limited "Stamina" (like Energy in other online games), but it seems far less punitive in its F2P aspects. The game also features a competitive survival mode that is a lot of fun. There are callbacks to various kung-fu movie tropes, such as using nun-chucks, boss stages featuring various graphical filters (grindhouse, thunderstorm), and an array of ridiculous weapons to smack mooks with.
