Title: So eventually...
Post by: Pax on March 20, 2014, 08:52:50 AM
...Aion got terrible after more than 2 years of mediocrity and going freetoplay in Europe, attracting everything but serious business gaming grown ups. Much like Eve Online, cept for the freetoplay bit.

Found myself all nostlagic, memorizing about italic fonts and spinning internet spaceships and resubbed both accounts... now what...?

I am moderately confident that you were not memorizing, you were reminiscing.

What miserably hostile 0.0 outpost are your characters docked at? In such a situation you can make a Stuck petition and ask for a GM to move your character along with one ship and everything you can stuff in the cargohold into Empire. If you're in a supercap, I have terrible news for you.

You can apply to any corporation regardless of office location now, but only when docked.

Docked in the middle of Querious and far end of Delve, respectively and the rather disappointing first impression seems to be that everything that used to be fun 2 years ago is now unfun. This place is deserted.

First things first, though, everything is awkwardly the-other-way-around when navigating in Eve, getting used to the inverted zooming and camera movement is an underrated pain.

Would a GM move a jump cloned character? Doesn't it make the character seem like... stranded on purpose?

The only way you can win is by not playing.

confirmed, though I really appreciate Bat-country giving me a comfortable couch to crash on while exploring Eve. It was a fun game to explore.
