Title: Kingdom Rush Post by: luckton on February 02, 2012, 07:28:48 AM I think I mentioned this game around the summer of last year when it was a webgame and how awesome it is. Since then, they released an iPad version over the holidays, and it's tearing up the charts. Simply put; it refines the Tower Defense gameplay just enough to keep it fresh, along with well executed and drawn graphics, sound, and fluff.
I still play this on occasion via ArmorGames when I'm bored at work. For you fancy iPad owners though, I highly recommend this. It's a fucking steal for the price they're charging. The sequel should be arriving pretty soon. I was addicted to this game for a couple of weeks. I usually destroy tower defense games, but this one will have you scratching your head on a couple of the challenge mode levels. I saw last night on a Canadian TV game review show (Reviews on the Run) it was picked as the iOS game of the year.

Since I lack an iPad, I hope to playing the Flash-based update soon, but for hipsters out there, enjoy the fun now. Post-edit: Also for you hipsters, the game's on-sale for .99 cents.
