However, even stoned with 5 different people in the room of varying tastes we ALL agreed this was one of the dumbest most shitastic movies of all times. Maybe people expected Ace Ventura or Elf and hated it because they got Bad Santa or The Cable Guy?

Practically no one will love it. Some people will like it. More people will hate it. I am firmly in the like camp. This movie is defined by it's lack of coherency or standard cinematic pacing or plot development, and the unlikability and surreality of the characters. I got into it and was really enjoying it by the end...my friend whom I saw it with thought it was one of the worst movies she'd ever seen.
