Title: All Glory to the Bat Country! (Cannith)
Post by: tazelbain on September 18, 2009, 09:28:25 AM
So the immortal, indomitable, pleated, piliferous, abundant, adroit  Bat Country rides again.  Most of us are officers.  So send a tell if Ardyn doesn't find you first.

Yeah, I finally got off my ass and got it made last night.  Still haven't managed to catch you online, and can't send invites offline.  Just check the player list, I know Taz, Cheddar, and FatuousTwat are in now at least, and they can all invite.

Sorry, last night was a Fallen Earth night.  I'll see if I can do the old put-people-in-friends bit and then dial 9, 1 and hover my finger over the 1 for if anyone logs in.

My beta client stopped working so I'm downloading the high-def client now.  I don't know how I managed to game at all with all these obstacles.  I must be some sort of masochist.

Dude.  You're playing Last Remnant.  On the 360.  I think that says it all.

I just used the turbine downloader to pull the game down.  That way it's back in a playable state in like 15 minutes tops.

The Turbine Downloader made it worse, would not start at all.  No matter, it is done.

Yeah I couldn't get it to work from the Turbine downloader either. It failed every time claiming I didn't have the current version of the client.

I never experienced these problems, probably because I dl'd the high definition client from the start.

How the hell does some one with a turbine account get some DnD action?

I tried the e-mail thing, no response, oddly.

It took them 3 business days to respond to me.  They'll send you a key to add to your account.

I'll definitely mail you a guild sigil tonight, now that I know they exist.  But you'll have to leave Korthos to get it.  I looked for Soln and Xoun all weakend.  I sent Soln a sigil already but I guess you are only playing Eriol.  I was able to invite an alt to guild by myself which is pretty good.  But the lack search by guild is just silly.

I tried this game last week.  Let's just say that I am in no way surprised this has gone free to play.

Too bad none of you guys could get in to this it would be a great the get an f13 group going.

You know bad groups are much funnier in this game.  There is so many ways to die!  So many people who solo in a groups.  It's very easy to bite off more than you can chew!

It's fun to be the only surviving party member and carry the whole team back to the rez shrine.

The challenge missions are great but most people aren't up for the challenge.  Its very interesting how the game is setup up xp wise.  If you play it safe you can get by, slowly.  If you want better xp, you have to take risks and you could fail.  Kinda different than the everyone gets a participation ribbon for trying.

So I got Huge Collection bag for Dree and use the shared bank to funnel all the collection items to her.  Then the collection rewards  (mostly wands and arrows) go back to the characters who can use them.

The irony here is that I did get into it, and I love the game, but I more or less play what my wife plays, and this isn't it.  For some reason she really likes Aion.
