Title: Character Screenshots
Post by: stray on December 27, 2004, 11:19:51 PM
I'm having a hard time settling on just one character, or finding a concept for one. Which one of these seems like a good idea?

Grip -- Gravity/Kinetics Controller.

My favorite power pool. My highest lvl character is a more "human" version on Triumph, but this is the guy I'm rerolling on Freedom. I was going for a kinda "hip robot biker" look, and gave him the robotic arms to explain his powers, but I dunno...Wtf does a "Grip" look like? I don't want to change the name because Grip is a good gravity related word, so...Any suggestions?

Hellhound -- Claws/Dark Armor Scrapper.

Claws look cool, but they suck.

Rasta Man -- Fire/Fire Blaster

Couldn't get the blunt and the beard at the same time.

The concept is fun, but Blasters aren't really my first choice.

Matador -- Katana/Reflex Scrapper

Probably my favorite guy out of the bunch, and with a red cape, he'd probably look dope as hell. I wanted to make a superhero with some kind of cultural relevance, but the name "Lone Star" is forbidden to use (it's a minor NPC name. Bah). Matador was the next best thing I could think of. He's kind of like Spain's version of the "Statesman" (or so I think).

Downsides are that in a game of superheroes, swords are plain and not very super-hero like...But nothing else would make sense for this guy. Also, when I was first made this character when CoH first came out, I got quite a few tells in Spanish. Since I resubbed, I'm getting them again (I'm being serious here).

The Subterranean -- Earth/Earth Tanker

I ganked the name from Kerouac, but it has nothing to do with beatniks. He's just some victim of a freak mining accident.

Downside is: Earth Tankers literally look like shit.

Anyways, suggestions/criticism?

EDIT: Sorry for the shitty quality on the screenshots btw

I like Matador the best of the bunch and Subterranean second best. The rest are okay, but I agree that Matador will look badass with a cape.

Thanks

Actually, I'm going to change the name of the thread from "Judge My Characters" to "Character Screenshots". I'd like to see everyone else's. Not to judge them, but just for fun (though I'm still asking for suggestions if anyone's got 'em, especially for Grip).

I like the Matador, but as a note his name is literally the Spanish word for "Killer."  So it's not so much a Statesman-like character.  I'd consider giving him some questionable political beliefs and making him a fun antihero.

I like the look of your stone/stone tanker a lot. That archetype/poweset is getting some love so I wouldn't put him away. Fire blasters are going to get nerfed hard, I expect, but damn they are great for soloing in the high teens and up.

Claws suck?  Hmm.  Mines only 11th, I guess the suck comes later.  I support the creation of any scrapper or tank.  At the mid-20s it seems like every group is a bunch of defenders, controllers, and blasters.  Its no fun being the only one on the front line.  You fightfightfightfight-die because everyone else ran off and you never sew em go.

In personal news, I finally got my "Tracer" badge yesterday, after whacking my 200th Tsoo Sorceror.   I just wanted to see if that made me a catass or just a masochist.

That one's not too bad since you can find a lot of Tsoo on Talos Island. The ones I think are a pain in the ass are the Banisher badge (kill 200 Banished Pantheon floating masks) or the Zookeeper badge (kill 10000 ritki monkeys, yes 10000).

I've been thinking of using the demo capabilties of CoH to put all my characters in a single screenshot, like have them all standing on the steps of city hall or something.

Nothing wrong with Claws.  In fact, it's one of the more damaging sets you can get.  Its attacks recharge very quickly, and I believe that by tossing Hasten on top of that you can stick to cycling just the very damaging attacks (Focus, Evicerate, etc).  It's not as great at AE damage as Spines, nor as great at Single Target damage as Martial Arts, but it's got a very healthy spot between the two.

I am saving a spot for a Claws/DA when the DA luv happens and they get to stack their armors together.  Claws has a nice punch, has a ranged attack that rocks (well, compair it to the two that are in the tanks line of short-ranged attacks), and with the less endurance needed, it complements the heavy endurance useage of DA.

I currently have 4 dwarf type characters, complete with back stories on how they came down from the mountain up north and got their powers and are off in the quest for broads, battles, and beer!  My spines/regen is parked at 16, as I really want to do the Positron TF, but just don't have 4 hours to sit at the computer and accomplish it.  I can't wait for the patch to go in, as my fire/stone tanker is going to be really fun to play :)

I'd go with the Earth guy.

Simply because he looks the most different from the majority of other heroes in game.

Horns are overused.

Here's a screenshot of one of my characters that I created with the super-secret Test server Playmate Character Editor that I get to use because I am an incredibly excellent tester and nice guy:

Cosmic Anomaly, original costume and new 'second act' dark costume, with and w/o stealth. Energy/energy blastola.

Tough to make out the dark costume in that lighting, though. Had to zone out of DA to get it even that good. Of course, first time logging him on in a few months now...forgot how to switch hotbars and fell off the building I had logged on..rooted and quickly killed...welcome back, I guess...

Ha, nice avatar.

I like the new costume, Sky.  Sort of an outer-space hero look.

Title: Re: Character Screenshots
Post by: Sky on February 23, 2005, 12:40:58 PM
Thanks. I should really write up his backstory to solidify it (and so I can remember it, heh). He was originally a sort of Galactus herald type, an alien imbued with the Power Cosmic (energy powersets). I forgot most of the setup for my 'second act', which, in traditional fiction, is the darkest. I got inspired when I took the Stealth powerset to do something darker, and it fit where he fell in the level spectrum...it was something about a cosmic anomaly (for teh irony!) warping his powers with dark matter or some shite. Had to give him a helmet, because white hair and blue skin wasn't working out too well on most designs...

It's amazing how invested you can become when you don't look like every third bastard on the server.

You don't have to read the whole stories. I know they're long.

NECRO

I was trying to redesign my Grav controller, but this time around, I was looking for something more standard men-in-tights superhero-ish looking (most of my characters are either technological, in leather, or something or other...generally, they think they're "too cool" for tights heh)

Anyways, I can't seem to come up with anything better than this scheme, but can't decide on one detai:

Rings on the head?

Or mohawk?

Opinions?

Title: Re: Character Screenshots

I like the rings.

Title: Re: Character Screenshots

Definitely the rings. But it could just be the lighting making that picture look better.

Title: Re: Character Screenshots
Post by: stray on August 15, 2005, 12:43:29 PM
Thanks for the suggestions. I was leaning that way too, but thought that the rings might be a little corny (But what the hell...it's a superhero video game, after all). It seems to mesh better with the saturn chest design anyways.

Title: Re: Character Screenshots

I finally got my cape for the bullfighter dude..Changed his costume around too (expensive!).

The old Matador

New version

I decided to go for a 'Dia de Los Muertos' look. The beret just wasn't cutting it. Maybe I'll give him bull horns or something..I dunno.

Okay, a couple of shots. Just ones I could shop into something decent.

Here is one of many heroes inspired by costume pieces, the Recursive Cat. With bio attached because that's part of the fun.

And here's EMP EMT, destroying a warehouse in order to save it. I realize he's partially obscured, but winning the Hammerspace Lottery was too good to pass up.

More screenshots as opportunities arise.

Has to be a female character.
Well that's a little annoying. That's normally not a problem for me in MMORPGs but for reasons I can't remember I didn't like the female models in CoH so all my characters were male. I guess I'll have to play with the character builder/costume designer again and see if that's still a problem.

Ashen Eidolon, Illusion/Radiation Controller, built in an alternate dimension by a beneficent and extremely talented robotics expert who, in this world, became Dr. Vahzilok.

Eldritch, Warshade

Gin, Dark/Dark Scrapper, the guy who's just too damn pissed off to die.

Llava, my level 50 MA/SR, shapeshifter who uses his power to give himself unnatural agility and strength, wanted a Nightwing-like look for his hero costume

The Third Mortal, Storm/Rad Defender.  He is the Third Mortal. Cain.  He's got a grudge against God and pity for mankind, thinks if he gets enough followers he can overthrow God.  Naturally, he doesn't tell people that last part.

Those are all the characters that are sticking around.  The rest are likely to get deleted when I need the space.

Title: Re: Character Screenshots
Post by: stray on August 22, 2005, 06:54:39 PM
So I added a little piece on top of the head this time. I think I've got it. It's amazing how flexible the character creation is, and how it forces me to use pieces to represent something that weren't necessarily intended for it (like for example, when people use gas masks to represent bird/duck bills).

(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v231/lonestar627/Game%20Screenshots/coh_matador1.jpg)(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v231/lonestar627/Game%20Screenshots/coh_matador2.jpg)

I think that's about as close as I'm gonna get to a Napoleon-ish/Matador type hat (I think Matador hats are supposed to represent bull horns or something anyways).

[edit] I'm gonna be pissed if CoV has a swashbuckler powerset. This guy is using a katana, but a rapier would tempt me to reroll.

Title: Re: Character Screenshots

So I rolled a new Super Strength tanker named Big Sur. He's kind of a Venice Beach body builder, asshole lifeguard, and California surfer all rolled into one.

Out of the gates

Surf's Up, Dude!!

Alternate costume. Better?

[edit] I just realized that I now have two tanks unintentionally named after Jack Kerouac books. Yay me.

I say this without violating any NDA provisions or implying any knowledge about the Brute archetype except for its name and that it is similar to a Tanker, which is something that has been publically discussed by Cryptic developers:

You could wait and make him a Brute.

Yeah, they don't do terrible damage anymore, nor do they have to chase mobs around because they keep knocking them away, nor is Knockout Blow a waste of a power.

Why you'd want to be as ineffective as SS was a year ago is beyond me, but it's probably some sort of concept thing.

Okay, nice image flood this time.

Another "inspired by the costume piece" creation, Komodo Jade. Setting the boobie slider to minimum broke the clipping on the vest, so I figured it was a sign from God. You probably can't spot the technique I was trying out here, which is all for the best.

Kinesthetic, my little defender. Fast things come in small packages.

Yet another "inspired by the costume piece" creation. Jet Scarab wising fwom his gwave, giving me an excuse to use that Pharoah hat.

Corona Borealis, an attempt to make a rainbow-colored costume that didn't scream "showtunes". Not sure how well it worked.

And my main, Zasani, a fire/energy tank who I swear to God was not created with uber intent. Here she is putting her hours in at Portal Corp and hanging out in alternate dimensions.

Also, street clothes and the obligatory fanservice shot.

I've got a few more lying around but this is most of them.

Ah, okay, that makes more sense.

It wasn't _just_ you. I forgot the cardinal rule of MMORPGs - stay off the official boards. With the I5 hysteria there tend to be a lot of people who think the game has gone unilaterally downhill since its release, which severely pushes my buttons.

Faathim, as has been answered. You free him (defeat his prison while under fire from the Circle of Thorn Archmages) at the end of the "Saga of Faathim" task force, which you get from Justin Bloody Frigging Hell Augustine. He serves as the contact for the final Shadow Shard task force, the Saga of Lanaruu, which is a series of about four missions with like six or seven parts apiece. Which is fortunate, because, being an otherdimensional superbeing, he doesn't have a phone, and the Chantry is a right bear to get to.

Also, he's much larger than that; the shot cleverly manipulates perspective to make us appear the same size. Zasani is as tall as you can make a lady (guys get a _touch_ more max height) and she doesn't even come up to the bottom bit of his skirty belty thing.

Here's a more accurate shot.

Here's one more. A pose from I5 - Big John Snow, ghost hunter. The staff is a Divining Rod, a temporary power that does crazy damage against ghosts. The little purple satellites are Minerals, stone tank armor's defense against psionics which increase perception range - actually useful against ghosts which have some element of innate stealth power.

The colors are modifyable, like everything else in CoH.  Schild just chose light blue instead of a more traditional panda color.

No, look closer it's got the right stripings, Schild reversed the dark/light of the panda, so the black spots at the eyes are white and so make the eyes look bigger and un-spotted.  (Yes, un-spotted is a technical Panda term)

Btw, are my screenshots too small for some of you? I'm running the game at 1024x768 (good vid card, but shitty monitor) and I just realized that most people here have some uber HDTV setup or something.

I like that second shot of Matador.

Thanks. I'm getting better at those action shots, I think. My favorite shot so far is this:

It'd be a cool comic cover, but that's too small even by my standards (it was part of a much larger scene though). I need to get into a  group with heals and invisibility again, because the silhouette shots look great. I just need to zoom in more.

My son and I just rolled up an archery team.  He is a blaster with archery/energy and I rolled a radiation/archery defender.  It works great since we only play these two when we are logged on, and we both have leveled up to 10 with them.  His is great at killing them, and I debuff em and buff us, works rather well, but  it suckes that I won't take another archery attack till 24...

Were on Victory as Proton Arrow and Red Archery (yeah I know...we were stumped for names and wanted to play  :-D ) give us a /tell if your ever on and want to kill some stuff.

Only my two Frau characters are bulldyke-y looking... I don't think Fishwife or Errata are really butch, just very angry and villainy.

Of course, my characters could always beat up your pasty little schoolgirl characters.  I don't even want to know what your perfect woman would look like... I'm thinking Punky Brewster or that gormless Willow from The Buffy Show.

Amber Benson FTW. You cannot convince me otherwise. No, do not try. Her big sweet eyes trump your adeptness with obscenities, sir.

It's sad, but I've had access to CoV for about a month now, and have not yet logged in. For a long time, the servers were only up while I was at work (I tend to keep going until 6-8 PM MST). Now they're up all the time, but I no longer feel any compulsion to play it.

Title: Re: Character Screenshots
Post by: Stormwaltz on October 21, 2005, 04:26:18 PM
I prefer to make characters that look more like real people rather than concept pieces or technicolor atrocities.

Tara Kelty (30, Storm Summoning / Psionic Blast)

Everyday Wear

She's supposed to be a college girl, so I made her something nice to wear to class. It's hard to tell, but that's a dark green/dark brown plaid. She tends toward earth tones on account of being a hippie witch (see: my previous post).

No, I don't have the witch hat yet. *cries*

And this is her new costume, still being tweaked. Since it's getting on to winter, I figured she'd need something warm to wear. What better than a university sweatshirt and fuzzy red mittens?

Ichigo (21, Claws / Reflexes)

Kind-of based on a character from a not-terribly-good shoujo manga called Tokyo Mew Mew. In school uniform...

...and ready make evil pay for it's badness.

Reyzel (13, Empathy / Dark Miasma)

My arr-pee character. She's a 12 year old homeless orphan. She's a bit nuts since she was dissected and reassembled by the Rikti during the invasion (they used her to figure out how we were put together). They accidentally left some surgical implements inside her. Fortunately, hivemind AI nanorobots are a bit more useful than a clamp or sponge.

Just some shots of what CoV characters I've actually developed.

First one is just a ripoff of Kakashi from Naruto... cause I wanted to.

Next is my Claws Stalker who will be called Striga.  For some reason, Strix was taken but Striga wasn't. (They mean the same thing, but Striga is a name actually used in the game.. Strix isn't.)

(http://img486.imageshack.us/img486/8640/covstriga6zm.jpg) (http://img486.imageshack.us/img486/8889/covstriga20qc.jpg) (http://img486.imageshack.us/img486/4048/covstriga32mu.jpg)

This one is my first whack at designing Horde, but I'll probably end up with something closer to the above Kakashi ripoff, didn't really care for this came out (but it displays the new /em ledgesit emote so I'm putting it up anyways)

Actually he's a ninja mastermind.  The concept I have is similar to Multiple Man- a mutant with the ability to create duplicates of himself.  Course, they're not exact duplicates so I have to tweak the exact nature of the power, but there you go.

The Ninjutsu secondary for Stalkers actually does resemble Naruto-ninja-ness somewhat.  You do the "stand up straight, make a symbol with hands" pose for a few powers.  I thought it would be great to have a self-rez power that made your corpse poof in a cloud of smoke and a sliced log appear in its place, and you drop from above... but they didn't do that.

Kawarimi would make baby jesus cry. I haven't watched or read any Naruto since roughly episode 60/manga issue 100, but I really don't want any of that shit in City of Villains. I'm surprised this is the first I've heard of it.

I could really fuck up the whole series for you. But I won't. No, Kakashi isn't big on duplicates, but you're a little past the fad to be making a character based on him in a game. Three years ago it  may have been ahead of the curve. That's all I'm saying.

Title: Re: Character Screenshots
Post by: Llava on October 22, 2005, 02:36:26 AM
That's cool, I'm not specifically trying to copy him.  I'm specifically copying Multiple Man :-P .  I'm just likely to use gray, spikey hair and a mask.  I've actually made like 8 characters with those features (albeit, not the same mask because it wasn't available yet) but ended up deleting them all because the concept didn't click for me.  I like this concept much better.

I will certainly say that seeing Kakashi in the series gave me a better idea how to refine that look, but I probably won't go with the military vest because it's just a bit too dead-on.  That's what really makes the copy there.  Aside from that, there's little in common- Kakashi wears blue, not black, his hair goes off to one side, he has a headband and usually keeps one eye covered, his pants end just over his ankles and he has sandle-ish shoes (the Chinese pants would be good to duplicate this), plus he keeps his jacket zipped up. :)

Actually, I'll amend that- there are two things that make that copy look so dead on: the jacket, and the leaning-against-the-wall-hands-in-pockets pose.

There was a fad that I never heard of?  Damn!

It wasn't a fad, but from episode 7 til about 70 at any given time the week it came out an episode of Naruto would have about 30,000+ peers on bittorrent. Two fansub groups were releasing subs for them within 24 hours after they came out. Good subs too. Hardsubs too, which meant reencoding. The only show I've ever seen that happen for (in as high a quality) since then is Densha Otoko (the japanese live action drama) which had faster turnaround time (about 6-7 hours), but they were softsubs. Which are better if you like to set your own font.

So, a bunch of my online friends from a different server decided to give the whole "themed VG" thing a kick.

Here are three of my entries in O.C.E.L.O.T. - the Outcast Catgirl Evil Legions of Terror. I bear full responsibility for the names.

Cougar Rockjaw, patterned after a certain master of the Western border. Stone/stone brute.

Sneszny Manx, a Russian emigre who got thrown in the Zig for throwing down with the Vory. The name is a rough transliteration of the Russian for "snow". Ice/cold corruptor.

And finally, Friends Forever, sharing a story with her dearest friends. (The one up front is Julio. He's grown so much.) Necro/dark mastermind.

Added note: Recall Friend is disgustingly handy for posing your minions.

Mutant, Fire/Fire Dominator. He's a negative empath, taking the violent emotions of everyone around him and manifesting them as  physical flame. Or, as I like to call it, Ire Fire!
(http://img64.imageshack.us/img64/3764/contempt18ax.jpg) (http://img83.imageshack.us/img83/4453/contempt22os.jpg)

Strix
Magic, Claws/Ninjutsu Stalker.  "Rescued" from a fall into Hell by the spirit of Owl, chosen to be Owl's avatar, the embodiment of darkness, wisdom, and death.

Horde
Science, Ninja/Poison Mastermind.  An alchemist searching for the Panacea (for what reason I have yet to determine- maybe he was infected with Shift and needs it to reverse the process, maybe for the immortality, maybe even to save someone else), he uses psuedosentient creatures called Homunculi and a myriad of toxins and serums to devastating effect. He almost completely rejects modern science, considering it short-sighted and, largely, a sham.

You know Llava got in early after the Great Name Free-up to have "Contempt" and "Horde".   Good screenshots -- especially the one with arms-crossed.  He's looking Contemptlative.  Get it? Contempt-lative!  I made that up myself!  Contempt-lative!  Priceless!

Oddly enough, Horde was available before the name wipe.  I was shocked, too.  More than a year of people snapping up names, and no one hung on to Horde.

However, before the name wipe, "Strix" was taken.

He's very buff for someone who sneaks around and pokes people.

Contempt got changed a while ago- Fire Control just really isn't a very good set, in my opinion.  Not until you get the pets, anyhow.  Got tired of trying to work with it and swapped to ice.  Naturally, I had to change the colors to fit.

Also added spikes to the belt and gloves.

He's very buff for someone who sneaks around and pokes people.

With armored legs/boots and a "tight" upper body, I had to buff up his chest and shoulders to look proportional.  And compared to the average tanker/brute, he's far from massive.  So far (just level 7) I really like Stalkers, they're closer to what I was trying to make with with DM/regen Scrapper with Stealth.  This guy was originally EM/EA but I re-made him.  Punching just seemed wrong for an assassin.

Title: Re: Character Screenshots

I don't think I've ever used armored legs.  They just don't look right to me.

Stalkers have disappointed me.  Lots of front-loaded damage but then you're just sort of flailing around, breaking even after fighting whites and yellows.  Trying a Tech Brute now, I'll post an image later.

Title: Re: Character Screenshots
Post by: Llava on April 18, 2006, 09:38:36 AM
Stalkers are definitely not the best for soloing.  It gets better later on, once you've got your SOs and such.  You can start to scrap a bit. It also depends on your sets (Regen is better at Scrapping, for instance).

But altogether, you're best in a team situation where you can use hit and run tactics to make the most of that assassin strike.

Title: Re: Character Screenshots
Post by: Shrike on April 18, 2006, 10:51:12 AM
I may as well jump in (finally) since I still play CoH/CoV quite a bit.

Stalkers aren't really where it's at for soloing, unless you PvP a lot. */regen stalkers can play scrapper to some degree, but lack the hit point pool to really drive the regen powers like a real scrapper can. Still, EM/regen is probably the strongest stalker for this sort of thing. Post I7, the improvement to claws may make it very strong for scrapper-like play as well.

If you really like the melee fighting and find stalkers a bit too fragile, then brutes are the place to go. */EA brutes have very stalkerish playstyles (non-suppressable stealthiness), but actually can go the distance in a scrum (usually, though like all defense sets, they suffer from Sudden Faceplant Syndrome). My own EM/EA brute is moving right along and tears through mob packs distressingly well. You have to be more careful with boss/elite boss fights, but that's part of the fun with this secondary. */EA is less good at grouping than some other secondaries, but the I7 defense changes should help with that as well.

Yup, plant arms, legs, chest, and hair are available as of Issue 7.  That's what he used.

I was more impressed by his excellent color choice, though.  He used the Bubble pattern on his chest and, with clever coloration, made it look like underwater light refraction.

Stone tanks are still rather unfortunately colored. That's "rooted", which used to be a big stone cage but turned into rock socks when they recoded it so you could move around, albeit slowly. It's stone tank stun resistance, basically.

Title: Re: Character Screenshots
Post by: Signe on August 25, 2006, 01:22:17 PM
That should be fun.  She is very un-butch.  I like characters that look inconsistant with what they do, and CoX is about the only game with a flexible enough character creation to do that.

Title: Re: Character Screenshots

I couldn't get a good replica of the Yogurting girl so I went for more of a generic Japanese schoolgirl motif. Note the size relative to other figures, too. Hopefully she won't get hit on, being as though she looks as much like a 13 year old as I could make her. Sadly, it is not possible to make a female COV character without, um, a chest.

All Mastermind primary sets offer a few "blast" powers.

Ninjas offer a couple archery powers, Zombies offer a couple Dark Blast powers, etc.

For the recently added Thugs primary for Mastermind, the blasts are Dual Pistols.

No, the pistols are not currently available to any other AT or as any other power set.  Each existing archetype is supposed to get at least one new power set over the next... well, undefined time, but probably a year.  It is entirely possible that the Dual Pistols will find their way into another AT (but, if you've been reading our coverage, you know that it won't be Scrappers).

Title: Re: Character Screenshots
Post by: Lantyssa on August 28, 2006, 02:07:49 PM
The Thug Mastermind has a few dual pistol attacks.  It is not really a full set like many people have wanted.

(Well, Llava beat me to it but I'm posting anyways.. :P)

Title: Re: Character Screenshots

Ah, ok.  When I was in the CoV beta, I think the Mastermind flavor that worked best was the one with the robots.

Man, that's almost a reason to go back, the lame assault rifle that my robot mastermind used was meh at best.

Title: Re: Character Screenshots
Post by: Lantyssa on August 28, 2006, 04:07:57 PM
I never took any of the attack powers.  I let my robots handle offense while I use my secondary.  (Dark is good for this.)  Occassionally I throw a taser dart if I feel the need to go on the offensive.

Title: Re: Character Screenshots
Post by: CmdrSlack on August 28, 2006, 05:38:14 PM
For some reason, I took the attack powers.  I can't honestly recall why, perhaps out of habit.  I did find that they were immensely useful, especially at earlier levels where I only had one pet.

Title: Re: Character Screenshots
Post by: Jimbo on August 28, 2006, 09:24:47 PM
My son and I made robot masterminds, it has a neat looking pulse rifle now.  The three attacks with it are good if you take anything other than dark as a secondary.  Dark secondary is so powerful that you don't need to be attacking, your henchmen do the dirty work and you end up buffing, de-buffing, healing, heck even reviving your whole party if needed.  Oh the assault rifle is a diffrent type than the super-soaker that blasters and corrupter's get, it looks pretty cool too.

The pistol set does look great, hopefully they let us have a true set for corrupter's or blasters.

Title: Re: Character Screenshots
Post by: Llava on August 28, 2006, 09:38:41 PM
The attacks are moderately useful.  It's not a bad choice.  Sometimes it's good to just finish off a little bit of remaining health that your pets missed, or throw down a little AE to get the ball rolling.  Or sometimes you get jumped outdoors when you don't have your pets handy.
