That "one scene" in the movie was wwwaaaayyyy more squimish-inducing then even the ear scene in reservoir dogs.

This is such an awesome movie that I don't know which of several scenes you are talking about.

Phil likes the 80s. He can't be trusted.

I was just coming back to edit my post because I didn't feel like trolling, but you responded too fast so I'm leaving it up.  I actually enjoyed the film, not sure why I wrote that.

I thought I was in the TV section for a sec. "Wha..?? Old Boy - the Series?!"

Anyways yeah, cool film. Still haven't seen the pre/sequels someone brought up around here before though.

How am I supposed to make the text in spoiler tags show up?

To answer, there seems to be a lot of posts in this and TV forum that look like people are trying to post spoilers. Yet, they show up with no text in them in my browser. I can't even highlight the text to get it to display that way. And according to the [url-http://forums.f13.net/index.php?topic=14403.0]TV Rules[/url] post, you guys have added a spoiler tag that is supposed to protect spoilers. Am I missing something?

Click on the "Hi, I'm a spoiler" text?

EDIT: WHY IS MY OLD BOY THREAD DERAILING INTO ECMASCRIPT TALK?

There is no such text in any of the posts in this thread. None. It's just blank space.

And yes, I've looked at it in 4 different browsers. Avant, Chrome, IE 6 and Firefox 2.

What template are you on?

I'm on the F13 template on both XP and Vista machines.

Hmmm, I just tried to post this with the Spoiler tag and it said I don't have permission to post spoilers. Pika?

So Yegolev, how would you say this movie stacks up to the others?  Say, Lady Vengeance?

One scene which made this film for me was  Absolutely fantastic.

Of the three films, I rate this one far and above the other two with Sympathy for Mr Vengeance as next best.  Lady Vengeance wasn't at all bad but just lacked something.  Maybe I was expecting something that was more like the other two and didn't get it so I probably need to watch it again.

All three are fucking superb films though.

Did not see.  Apologies.

By the way, the scene Draconian mentions is probably the best one in any film in recent memory.

Mr. Vengeance was better imo, it was just so much more twisted at times.  Though I'm glad I saw Old Boy first.  It was accessibly awesome as fuck out the box.
