I suppose it was cool for the people who built the maps to see people walking around them, but there wasn't any real reason I could find to stick around. Part of the problem for me was that the camera angle was so severe that it was difficult to see if there was in fact anything worth investigating on any map I visited. I'm not a game designer/builder and don't have any real appreciation for the tech involved but it seemed like I still was zoning into new maps just like I have in countless games before. I did click on a mailbox and end up in a different map which I think didn't have a zone in but I could be mistaken. On the plus side it didn't lock up my PC or lag too badly.

The camera angle is 2:1 iso, which is pretty standard. What do you call severe? :) You were zoning into new maps. A key thing though is that some of those new maps were actually in other worlds altogether. They could, in fact, have been a different game, like a space shooter.
