Well, Venner didn't log on at all today so I'm gonna hunt him down tomorrow(tonight) and make a formal declaration.  Glad so many of you are up for it =)

My clan would probably play you guys, if you want some more informal sessions. We do 8v8 and Sundays is the practice night, from about 5 PST - 9 PST.

The only real rules is ~3 per class, but even that isn't set in stone.

Well, I laid down the challenge to Venner a little while ago.  He says they're up for it, but there's a pretty big issue that I hadn't really considered.  Neither group has their own server!  I suppose we could just invade a pub... any suggestions?

Every day except Wednesday. This weekend coming up.. I'm not sure though. Beginning of Reading Week/Mid Semester break, so I might be heading home for the weekend.

I don't think I have played since everyone got all butthurt in the last scrimmage, but I can dust off my inferior skills and get killed for the glory of F13.

Dunno how I didn't notice this thread, I'm super down for weekday TF2, but I can't gaurentee I'm around until 10pm EST due to work.  Also I haven't touched TF2 in a month since I resub'd to eve, so I bet I really suck now.

Best get to practicing then.  You guys can get a feel for what some of FL plays like on the 24-hour Dustbowl server than Venner hangs out in.  Watch out for Zafire, he's pretty much the best spy ever.

Medic's my best class by a good margin, but I can play Demo/Scout at a decent level.

Buh?!?!?!?! I've had some of my best games on badlands. I really dig the flow of it. I don't like the layout of the bases as much, but the middle part makes for some awesome fire fights.

Yeah, I kind of like the whole tiny chokepoint thing.  It's what makes all the 5-point maps fun, but I like that there are multiple ways to sneak up on the point in Badlands whereas everything else is pretty much two columns all the way across the map.  I do remember the first time I played it, though, running around like a chicken with its head cut off while looking for the 4th point.

Since Eve is still down, I am going to play a few rounds.

I looked and you obviously didn't play for six hours.  There's no dedication anymore!

I really liked the Heavy who ran away while he was ubered.

That was priceless. I was medicing him, and he just sat there when I said CHARGE!

Maybe he was out of ammo?  I do wish they had a voice macro for "I need to reload!" so you could tell medics that now isn't the best time to uber you. 

OTOH, when a medic ubers me and I'm empty I always charge out with my bare hands rather than waste the uber.

Close range shotgun isn't too bad either, right? Don't heavies get shotguns or something else besides a minigun?  :oh_i_see:

The shotgun isn't bad, but at that point you're better off ubering an engy.  The heavy's fists might actually do more damage.  Also, fists + uber =  :drill:.
