So, I got the guild created with everyone in it so far (schild, falwell, etc.) - the name is F13 since apparently you can't put spaces in the names of a guild, which is retarded.

Send a tell to Nonentity if you want an invite (there aren't officers or anything - only guild leader or not)

Is there some trick to actually talking in the guild chat? Because I have yet to find it. /guild /g and just typing while you have the guild tab focused.

I think it's /gchat if I recall what I've read correctly. The chat interface is worse in release. Now it's on or totally off. In beta you could still see the messages when you didn't have the chat interface active.

How do you even join a guild?  I've only /played 2 hours and I wasn't even sure if I was online even though I was seeing other pc's, nobody said one random word in two hours.  NOT ONE.

So yeah I miss people, I'll be hopping on Tspeak and joining this guild thingy if somebody tells me how asap this evening.

Yea, I found it odd that there is no senseless chatter in the hub areas. No chatter at all in fact. You would think you'd hear at least one Chuck Norris conversation going on. Or do I have to actively do something to see that chat channels?

Well, the chatbox hides itself, there are a large number of stations, time spent in stations is low (vendor gear sucks, no need to sell lewts, quest givers are all concentrated and highly visible, etc.) and the game is easy/soloable. Spontaneous chat is anything but encouraged...

Explain why selling lewtz is not needed?  Do you breakdown everything instead of selling it or are you saying money becomes useless in a hurry?  Which leads me to, wtf I was suprised to see there is crafting in this game (item breakdown stuff) and are crafting lewtz worth the time wasted breaking things down and keeping track of recipies?

Also how do I unhide the chatbox and still nobody has said how to join a guild, special guild npc at a later station or something?

Yea I breakdown everything. Theres a triangle by the healthbar that restores the chatbox. And Im not sure how to join a guild, but one of the vendors has a guild-starting-foozle for sale to subscribes only. Iirc I saw it in the 2nd station, but I'm not certain thats correct; it may be available at all stations.

Hide/Unhide chat box with tilde key "~"

Dunno about guild thing, costs 10k at merchant to start one.  Tried sending a request to lockdown but keep missing him.

I don't think there are any recipes to save, that's just for the Halloween robot.  Usually you go to the NPC and see what they have, it randomly respawns just like the vendors.  I think you also use components for one of the upgrade stations.

Actually, I found a blueprint for an item last night - just a random drop from a mob. It required way more materials than I have right now, so I just stuck it in my stash, don't even remember what it was.

I think Nonentity has to invite you.  I did a search for him this afternoon and got in the guild.  I don't know anything else, unfortunately.  I had to leave before I could find out more.  I suppose I should RTFM or sommat.

These bugs are going to be impossible to track down. I've never experienced any of that.

I know.  Look at the stupid forums.  People are getting all sorts of strange, random bugs.  The stuck in combat one is the only one that driving me to distraction, though.  Some unlucking people are getting ALL the bugs.  I'm glad.  It makes me feel almost lucky.  I'm hoping the stuck combat one won't be so hard to address though... a lot of people seem to get it, though maybe not as often as me.

Bugwise I got almost nothing other than this quest bug. Sometimes when Rattran and I would group, after deaths we'd go out of sync. But logging out and logging back in fixed it immediately.

That could be true, but I'm not sure which time we're talking about...   I do try to go on TS when I'm playing HG though honestly the lack of people to talk to / play with thanks to the b0rked chat bullshit has really been killing my desire today.  Plus I got the game 3 days late, I'm not even L20 yet...  fucking failure.

I got the game on time and I'm level 12.  Of course, I stop and look at stuff and read everything stuck on the walls, listen to everything the questy people say and stare at random people.  I can't even imagine the doggedness and catassery that goes with you lot.  We should have named the guild Petco.

Here's an interesting tidbit:

My friends list doesn't reflect across all characters, ie. char specific.

My guild tags only let me chat/see guild members when I'm on that specific character.

Ie. everything points to social aspects being tied per character.

Why then, can I search "/who f13" and have real results displaying peoples alts, even if they're not guilded?
