Title: Don't Forget EuroChampions Live on Setanta !!!
Post by: Ironwood on April 30, 2007, 02:28:05 PM
This is beyond a goddamned joke.  Not content with getting several million gold whispers from silly accounts with a life expectency of a marsh fly, the Euroservers now have industrious other marketers whispering unrelated to WoW Shit.

When are they gonna fix this crap ?  Surely it must be easy to put in a global ignore ??

I'm actually surprised it has taken this long.  I don't think I've seen a CocaColaRules or something running around any of the online games I've played, and that really surprises me.  Its only a matter of time until some whacky marketing company discovers online games.

I've gotten pretty good at recognizing ad/tells rather than real ones.  Basically, if I get a /tell that is more than 5-8 words, it is advertising.  If it is more than 1 line, it DEFINITELY is advertising.

I kind of let it roll over me like the NPC chatter I get everywhere in Outland.  Don't get me wrong though.  I'd still like to see it go away.  I'd just be worried about misisng actual /tells.  I just finished up some quests last night with somebody I've never met due to them /tell'ing me.

That's a pretty important feature.

Just cyber them in return.

Or petition the GMs.
