Title: The PS3 Store thread. Post by: schild on April 25, 2007, 03:03:04 AM Yea, I just started a thread for this. Consider this a Calling All Our Asian Friends Post:
Quote Gamefront says Sony announced these titles to hit PS Store (tomorrow it seems) in Famitsu. - Arc the Lad II (Sony) - Philosoma (Sony) - Love Game's: Wai Wai Tennis Plus (Hamster) - Jigsaw World (Nippon Ichi) - Yaku Tou: Noroi no Game (Idea Factory) - Jiisan 2 Tabi Bikkuri: CG Mukashibanashi (Idea Factory) - Ikasama Mahjong (Idea Factory) - Lunatic Dawn III (Artdink) - A5: A Ressha de Gyouko u 5 (Artdink) - Metal Slug X (SNK Playmore) - Real Bout Garou Densetsu (SNK Playmore) - Bakumatsu Roman: Gekka no Kenshi [Last Blade] (SNK Playmore) - Garou Densetsu Wild Ambition [Fatal Fury: Wild Ambition] (SNK Playmore) - Kenkaku Ibunroku Yomigaerishi Soukou no Yaiba Samurai Spirits Shinshou [Samurai Shodown: Warriors Rage] (SNK Playmore) OMGOMGOMOMGOGMGOM Who wants to help a brother get the Garou Densetsus, Last Blade, and Samurai Showdown? Eh eh eh, you know you want to. Man. That shit needs to hit America. Holy unacceptable. Anyway, I know we've got people here with JPY PS3s and the JPY accounts. Can anyone post the pricing, perhaps some paypaling is in order. Maybe 5 people could split the costs? I'm sure they come out to $20-$30 together. Man am I glad I've got joysticks for the PS3. Edit: Obviously, for future store releases, just drop them in this thread. Title: Re: The PS3 Store thread. Post by: stray on April 25, 2007, 06:05:54 AM SNK stuff is supposed to come to the States.
I have my doubts about Wai Wai Tennis though ;). Title: Re: The PS3 Store thread. Post by: Kageru on April 25, 2007, 06:19:41 AM According to IGN a lot of those games are PSP only because PS3 backward compatility is almost non-existent. Less than 10% playable? lame. I expect them to fare poorly in any case. PS3 is the power-gamers console, and only a tiny subset of them are into retro-gaming. As an attempt to cover up the lack of new titles for the PSP it should do much better. Title: Re: The PS3 Store thread. Post by: Yegolev on April 25, 2007, 06:25:08 AM Who you callin' a tiny subset?
Title: Re: The PS3 Store thread. Post by: Roac on April 25, 2007, 06:38:52 AM Who you callin' a tiny subset? Remember, it's not the size that matters, it's who uses it. Title: Re: The PS3 Store thread. Post by: stray on April 25, 2007, 06:40:11 AM As an attempt to cover up the lack of new titles for the PSP it should do much better. Here I thought the PSP was finally coming into it's own. It always take me awhile to get into handhelds, but even I want one now. Title: Re: The PS3 Store thread. Post by: Yegolev on April 25, 2007, 06:40:52 AM I guess it also depends on if you consider PS2 games retro.
Title: Re: The PS3 Store thread. Post by: stray on April 25, 2007, 06:42:22 AM Not really, when the target system is the pretty much the same thing.
[EDIT] Err...Referring to the PSP. Not the PS3, of course. Title: Re: The PS3 Store thread. Post by: Driakos on April 25, 2007, 08:14:29 AM Last Blade sweeeeeeet!
Title: Re: The PS3 Store thread. Post by: Velorath on April 25, 2007, 10:33:35 AM Can anyone post the pricing, perhaps some paypaling is in order. It's being reported that Sony hiked up the prices a little, from 525 yen to 600 for Playstation games. Title: Re: The PS3 Store thread. Post by: schild on April 25, 2007, 10:39:48 AM Wait, these are PS1 games? Meh. Don't care then.
Title: Re: The PS3 Store thread. Post by: Yegolev on April 25, 2007, 11:26:12 AM Arc the Lad I,II,III are all PS1.
Title: Re: The PS3 Store thread. Post by: schild on April 25, 2007, 02:12:12 PM Quote Spectral Force (Idea Factory) R-Types (Irem) A.IV. Evolution Global (Artdink) Resident Evil Directors Edition (Capcom) Bishibashi Special (Konami) Arc the Land (Sony) Ore no Shi wo Koete Yuke (Sony) Gunners Heaven (Sony) Ganbare Morikawa-kun Ni-go (Sony) Marl Oukoku no Ningyou Hime (Nippon Ichi) Tekken 2 (Bandai Namco) That is the list of PS1 games that will load to the harddrive and play int he PS3. Marl's Kingdom (N1) is a blow to the gut. But if someone could nab R-Types (THE BEST R-TYPE!), that would rock! |
