According to the Mirror Williams and his friends - who were round his house to play their weekly football match - at first assumed that Pesci was joking. However, the seriousness of the soon became apparent. One of his friends told the newspaper: "At first Rob stood their smirking when Pesci bounded over waving a club. "But he quickly realised the seriousness of the situation and ordered his pals to move their cars. It was pretty terrifying in Goodfellas when Pesci's character flew off the handle. Imagine seeing it in real life. "Robbie has never had any sort of dispute with his neighbours before and has now given his mates strict instructions to steer clear of Pesci's driveway." Post by: Righ on April 18, 2007, 04:11:39 PM Robbie Williams was in one of those dreadful boy bands that has lots of big hits but sounds exactly the same as every other boy band (fucking horrible). I'm not sure which one, you could Google it. He's got a pretty good voice, and the fiendish sound makers at Abbey Road did a number on him when he first went solo. Kind of ended up sounding like a young Elton John fronting Oasis. For a fleeting moment, he might have been something, then he actually started to believe the press releases that he was in some way the major talent behind his sound, and made a series of monumental mistakes including splitting with the songwriter that the clever people at EMI had paired him with. EMI tried to repair everything, but presumably the original studio talents had buggered off, or they got lazy. Although I'd pay to see Joe Pesci smack the narcissistic little twat in the gob, if I were in Joe's shoes, I'd probably just put my house on the market.
