I'm transferring the domain name from a doomed registrar to a more stable one this weekend. Well, theoretically, this weekend. If you've ever transferred a domain name, you probably know that it's one of the most boring waiting games on the planet.

If there's downtime, it should be minimal as I'm a professional. Or somesuch.

Apologies. I know I shouldn't do this the week Pokemon is coming out but it's a pretty piss poor gaming week otherwise. If all goes well, we'll be able to continue our streak of largely uninterrupted service over the past 3 years.

I read on the weekends.  Actually, this is what pops up when I start my browser and then I can't help but read whatever is there.  Sometimes I regret that.

You can't escape the politics forum, its power is unrivaled.  Even though you may not have wanted to post there I'm certain that you have posted in a thread that got banished to politics after it turned bad.  The politics forum hungers, and you will feed it wether you like it or not.

Quite often I've put threads into the Hell that is the politics forum. Half of the time I was baited into spouting Christian ideals, the other half was simply because I was bored and we needed a dose of the crazy. I'm still not posting there, or even wandering by to visit.
