Title: Fix Blizzard's Itemization. Well, sort of. Post by: Fabricated on April 06, 2007, 01:53:19 PM Make your own spells/items. The use of the descriptor "realistic" confuses me, and I'm sure it's some sort of ad-driven thing sending money to IGE or whatever, but it's neat none the less. Note that I use AdBlock Plus with a nice blacklist so I see no popups/obnoxious/virus-laced ads if there are any.

Title: Re: Fix Blizzard's Itemization. Well, sort of. Post by: Fabricated on April 07, 2007, 01:24:37 PM I play this game too much. I'm amusing myself by reitemizing the pre-BC dungeons.

But a lot of people (esp. in MMOs) are under the impression that if it goes to 11, a mere 8 is 'useless'.I kinda get teh funnah: rogue w/o Imp. Sap has been discussed here before as a Bad THing, the warrior is 'supposed' to be Prot-spec, and for instances(the only place where group makeup matters) the priest 'should' be Holy-spec, or something. I'm not sure I get what's wrong with the feral druid, in particular. What are they supposed to be? Resto, to play backup healer for the priest? It seems this particular item is only really funny if you've forgotten there's a game before lvl 70 heroic instances. -- Alkiera Title: Re: Fix Blizzard's Itemization. Well, sort of. Post by: Mesozoic on April 09, 2007, 05:53:29 AM I dunno...the other night I had a group that refused to start WC until we found a Paladin. So now Horde needs a Paladin to do WC?

Post by: WindupAtheist on April 09, 2007, 01:28:23 PM I still hang out in Ventrilo with the guild when I'm online, and I've been having fun with this. I've been making joke items for particular members. For example, we have this one girl who's really attractive and who gets all the unwanted nerd-attention you might expect. I made her this:
Melgandra's Tubetop of the Bewbs (http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e121/GrimDysart/mel.jpg) Then there's this guy who has some sort of complex about being a geek for playing the game. He literally keeps the fact that he plays WoW secret from people in real life, was quite alarmed one day when he slipped up and mentioned it to someone at his job, and is always looking for a reason to point out why someone else is a nerd but he isn't.
