Title: More than a feeling... Post by: Nebu on March 09, 2007, 10:58:38 PM Brad Delp, lead singer of the band Boston dies at 55. (http://www.iht.com/articles/ap/2007/03/10/arts/NA-A-E-CEL-US-Obit-Brad-Delp.php)
Stuff like this makes me feel old. Sorry to see the guy go so young. Title: Re: More than a feeling... Post by: Trippy on March 09, 2007, 11:06:57 PM Yeah that's sad. Boston was one of my favorite bands growing up and More than a Feeling was one of the few songs I could play on the guitar (fingerpicking and all).
Title: Re: More than a feeling... Post by: Llava on March 09, 2007, 11:12:52 PM I like playing it on Guitar Hero.
Title: Re: More than a feeling... Post by: Damn Dirty Ape on March 09, 2007, 11:22:03 PM I see my Marianne walking away
I was married to a Marianne once upon a time, so yeah, life soundtrack and all that. This shouldn't hold up the next Boston album by, oh, another decade or so. Title: Re: More than a feeling... Post by: Stormwaltz on March 10, 2007, 10:47:11 AM I don't agree with most my father's musical taste.
Boston, though, we agreed on. I'll always hear their songs being played off vinyl, thundering out of the best waist-high speakers 1978 had to offer. Title: Re: More than a feeling... I was in High School when Boston released the first album. Title: Re: More than a feeling... Post by: HaemishM on March 12, 2007, 09:40:51 AM Boston transcends generational barriers. We all need some schmaltzy guitar-heavy pop that rocks ass, no matter the age.
