Title: Game Design Job Opening at Turner (entry level?)
Post by: Soln on February 16, 2007, 11:36:07 AM
I saw this and put it by Schild for rationality.  We agree it seems worth posting only because it might be an entry level position for someone wanting to get into game design and the industry.  Not sure what title or new project it's for, although Turner owns GameTap, and of course separately there's Warner and ToonTown.  Could be good.  Dunno.

None of the job description URL's seem portable, so to apply you will need to go via the following and search on "game" to submit: http://www.timewarner.com/corp/careers/jobtools_us/index.html

Is there something particularly interesting about this job posting or is this a new push to get f13ers into key positions in the game industry?  I mean Schild does have a special place in his heart for the Illuminati.  Maybe he's finally starting to lay the foundation for his endgame.

only that the job requires no previous experience designing/making games, never seen that before, thought someone might like that

I've seen quite a few game development studios not require previous experience (Arenanet is the only one I can remember this moment).
