So, some folks on this site decide to play planetside. So.. I dust off my discs and delete a few and when I think I have enough free space I load her up. I patch it in, an hour plus not bad considerting. I go to my account and resubscribe for a month. CC info address OK got ya. I go to play but a dialog pops up prob with my account. See customer service. So I follow the customer service links and the best option seems to be live chat with a CSR rep. So I follow this get a Java applet I am 19 th in line. I wait a while and I am still 19th in line. So I minimize it and start playing COX while alt tabbing to watch the progress. 2 and a half hours pass and I am down to 6th in line. 5 minutes pass and I alt tab back to see "no responce I'll have to close this conversation" and the windoe closes. OK I say to myself "FUCK YOU JACK". And I Have Been a week trying and cant cancel my subscription.

I managed to install it. Then it tried to assault my video card. I had to reboot in order to get any of my other games to run. It still plays like an ultra low budget Unreal/Tribes hybrid.

It also won't be anything other than EQ/WoW/DAoC/Diku with a mythological theme.

Probably. Though the combat animations speak of something deeper than that (of course, they could just be good animations too...CoH looks good in the same way, and that's nothing special really).

Is this guy's experience fabricated completely? or

Is it to be expected of SOE and therefore unsurprising, thus comments lacking any relevance to his original point been said/done so many times before that there is no need for validation now?  or

Sorta all three. Hyperbole ftw. But it does happen. SOE can be "trusted", but sometimes shit happens.

Nope.  I did get dizzy, though.

It seemed that sony wanted (forced) me to subscribe with a CC even though I had a free month retail with the game.

The problem was, the "give us your money" screen popped up with a comment, something like "Your subscription is not valid. Enter account key or sign up.", and then when you go to view account, it shows you own planetside with subscription: active, listing start date of whenever you bought it and end date of a month from then, which was in the future. Fuckers.
