Worst case scenario it’s broken and only lasts a week or two. Otherwise it's almost expected, I mean it’s a game, winners get rewarded. But then again I have no idea what the rewards are. I suggest l33t gamerscore bling, like those colorful army ribbons for outstanding performance in a genre, or those chevrons that show enlisted rank for every 10,000 gamerpoints. But it'll probably just be a t-shirt.

It sounds like a great idea, and a brilliant marketing move, much like achievements in general. I just don't know if this blogger is blowing smoke or legitimately has some insider information.
