Title: Needs more ghey. Post by: voodoolily on January 18, 2007, 09:33:34 AM Here, happy now?
Crayon Shin-Chan: Saikyou Kazoku Kasukabe King Wii (http://image4.play-asia.com/640/PA.74759.002.jpg) (http://image1.play-asia.com/640/PA.74759.001.jpg) Ennichi no Tatsu (http://image4.play-asia.com/640/PA.74744.002.jpg) (http://image1.play-asia.com/640/PA.74744.001.jpg) We never get anything good here. Title: Re: Needs more ghey. Post by: stray on January 18, 2007, 09:42:01 AM [edit] Damnit. Image screwup.
Title: Re: Needs more ghey. Post by: stray on January 18, 2007, 10:02:35 AM Seriously though....
The Wii could use a flying game. Screw shooters. I've been thinking about how cool Lair might be on the PS3, and then I think of this on the Wii: (http://www.smashbros.com/en/pics/img/pic4.jpg) The world is ready for a return, I think. And it's ghey enough for this thread. Title: Re: Needs more ghey. Post by: Bunk on January 18, 2007, 10:06:21 AM Okaaay... I promised myself I would respond if VDL came out from under the bed to post.
But this? This is waay out of my comfort zone. Title: Re: Needs more ghey. Post by: stray on January 18, 2007, 10:16:42 AM "Ghey" is Voodoo Code for more console talk.
Or so I tell myself. Anyways, here's some more: (http://media.insidegamer.nl/packshots/4025.jpg) Notice the "d" in "Madness". Ghey indeed. Title: Re: Needs more ghey. Post by: stray on January 18, 2007, 10:35:54 AM We never get anything good here. The new Phoenix Wright just came out, and Hotel Dusk in a couple of days. If I had my DS, that's what I'd be playing (among other things). On a sidenote, I believe the PS3 doesn't have regional barriers. Yay (hopefully). Title: Re: Needs more ghey. Post by: HaemishM on January 18, 2007, 11:25:01 AM The Wii could use a flying game. I think Blazing Angels is coming out sometime in the spring for the Wii. Title: Re: Needs more ghey. Post by: Nebu on January 18, 2007, 02:18:25 PM Summer Olympics or Track & Field on the Wii would be fun. Might be the only exercise some people get.
Title: Re: Needs more ghey. Post by: Kageru on January 18, 2007, 03:44:25 PM I think it's great. If the wii market is tolerant of weird, low production cost, and relatively specialised, gaming experiments it will be a healthy environment. As per sturgeons law 90% of them will be crap, but there will probably be a couple of gems or great idea's. On the other hand for the PS3 the game will have to have a huge production cost and probably be an iteration of a successful franchise to reduce the risk for the developer. Personally I'm looking forward to the wii version of elite beat agents, that should be such an easy conversion. Title: Re: Needs more ghey. Funny, I usually hate the flying part of any game. Didn't care for the "control the giant bird" part of Twilight Princess - it took me three tries before I stopped crashing into the stalactites. Title: Re: Needs more ghey. Post by: Strazos on January 18, 2007, 07:13:36 PM Monster Madness? Any relation to Zombies Ate My Neighbors?
Title: Re: Needs more ghey. Post by: NiX on January 18, 2007, 08:15:09 PM Monster Madness? Any relation to Zombies Ate My Neighbors? SOme parts of that game pissed me off.Title: Re: Needs more ghey. You can classify that under things that will suck balls. Too bad Factor 5 doesn't seem to want to touch the Wii or else it might have a decent 3rd party title during it's lifetime. In theory it should have at least one whenever the Resident Evil game comes out (assuming it doesn't turn out like the Gun Survivor RE games). Title: Re: Needs more ghey. Post by: schild on January 18, 2007, 09:04:56 PM In theory.
Who knows when that shit will ever drop and if the controls will actually turn out decent. Title: Re: Needs more ghey. Post by: stray on January 19, 2007, 05:57:51 AM It'd just be another Star Wars game anyways. I'm glad they didn't do that this time around.
... Blazing Angels.... Almost got it off of D2D one day for the PC, but just about every reviewer on the planet says "meh" (a 3D 1942 -- how the hell can they go wrong?). Could be cool for the Wii though, who knows. Title: Re: Needs more ghey. Post by: cosapi on January 19, 2007, 06:31:26 AM The internet has been saying the Wii could use Nights into Dreams. That's a decent game with flying.

too much? Title: Re: Needs more ghey. Post by: voodoolily on January 19, 2007, 10:01:44 AM Whoa Hard Gay is anime now?
Title: Re: Needs more ghey. Post by: HaemishM on January 19, 2007, 10:11:16 AM The Wii could use a flying game. I think Blazing Angels is coming out sometime in the spring for the Wii. You can classify that under things that will suck balls. I didn't say it would be good, and he didn't ask for a GOOD flying game. Specificity is important. I would so buy a Hard Gay anime Wii type game that involved assloads of hipthrusting action. Title: Re: Needs more ghey. Post by: stray on January 19, 2007, 10:16:28 AM Well, all I meant is: Lair. It's gonna be good, and it will make good use of the PS3 'troller.
Nintendo needs something themselves. With the right game, they could do better. Could have been a new Rogue Squadron, but umm....Lol. Kid Icarus would be neat though. Link with wings. Title: Re: Needs more ghey. Post by: Surlyboi on January 19, 2007, 01:06:46 PM Whoa Hard Gay is anime now? Even in live action, HG is anime... Title: Re: Needs more ghey. Post by: Yegolev on January 19, 2007, 03:05:54 PM On a sidenote, I believe the PS3 doesn't have regional barriers. Yay (hopefully). I think this is true, but what the fuck is there to import? Top title in Japan now? Resistance: Jinrui Botsuraku no Hi. Title: Re: Needs more ghey. Post by: Calantus on January 19, 2007, 06:31:13 PM Yeg, do you live in a PAL territory? No? Then shut it. :P
On a side-note, I still do not have Final Fantasy XII, and will never have Suikoden III. Title: Re: Needs more ghey. Post by: schild on January 19, 2007, 08:01:18 PM You aren't missing a goddamn thing by not having Suikoden 3.
Edit: And Europe got EDF2 (Earth Defense Force 2). So you don't get to complain. Title: Re: Needs more ghey. Post by: Yegolev on January 20, 2007, 04:33:31 PM On a side-note, I still do not have Final Fantasy XII, and will never have Suikoden III. At least one of those looks like ass on the PS3. Whenever I go to grab a copy of Suikoden off a shelf, my fingers curl up like the wicked witch's in The Wiz. Do you need a PS3? They are using them as doorstops at my local Target. |
