Neil Gaiman had a short story in his most recent book, loosely based on the Holmes story "The Scarlet Letter", set in an alternate Victorian world where the Old Ones came back, rule humanity, and are mating with the remaining nobility and monarchy. Post by: cmlancas on July 22, 2007, 04:53:37 AM I'd like to respond to a post way far back that I think there is a pretty decent following for noir type stuff that a detective story following the noir style could easily be successful. Max Payne kinda delved into this, but it wasn't really a detective story per se.
I'm just a Raymond Chandler fan, but I can dream, right? |
