Title: Dave Cockrum passes away Post by: Velorath on November 26, 2006, 09:02:25 PM Just read the news that Dave Cockrum passed away from diabetes related complications (http://forum.newsarama.com/showthread.php?t=92222). He hadn't done much if any comic work in recent years, and is mostly remembered for his work co-creating the "All-New, All-Different" X-men. In an industry filled with splash pages, double page spreads, and so-called "cinematic" art style, it's sad to see the passing of an artist who cared more about telling the story visually rather than trying to be flashy.
