Title: Saturday or Sunday -- Sister Psyche TF
Post by: CmdrSlack on July 25, 2004, 09:08:28 AM
Ok, so perhaps it's time for the Sister Psyche TF if there's people in the level range (20-26).

Times that I think would work:  Daytime Saturday or Sunday (so like perhaps 2 or 3pm EST so the west coasters can sleep in)

Evening either day.

What looks best for you guys?

Or should I just name a time and day?

Qua Fin Ti can make it Saturday afternoon/evening or Sunday early (I'll need to leave by about 4 PDT.)

I would be on, but I usually head to home and sleep around 1600 EST on the weekends (I work 2-10).  Although lately I've been hanging around till 1800.. Still probably not enough time to finish the TF though unless you start right at 2.

My weekends are usually pretty loose. I'll be up for some action, though Cosmic is still level 20. Probably the last TF I'll be able to do with you ;)

Heh, just start playing more after this coming weekend, I'll help you get up to the next TF bracket.

Qua's only level 20 right now, too. Not to worry about the level thing.

I've still got Doc Vaj on the agenda, too, btw. Maybe a little aperitif on Sunday...

So, yeah.

Sunday is probably better for me.  Time-wise is 2pm CST good for most people?  That way the west-coast types aren't up at the asscrack of dawn.

I've got to go to Austin to attend a baby shower (ugg...) with the wife this weekend and we could come back either Saturday or Sunday. I may or may not be able to join with Burning Cold, just depends. Later on Sunday would be the better time for me though.

I'll be on, but it looks like a paucity of interest...should make a post over on the morlocks, too. Usually a couple guys on during the weekends.

WHAT THE FUCK????? Is this someone in your family or friends??? Adult men do NOT belong at baby showers or bridal showers. Women who try to cajole, force, or otherwise influence men into attendance of such are among the most evil beings that stalk our earth, or are at the very least hopelessly misguided.

Jeebus, man- you gotta stick up for yourself sometimes!

The mom-to-be is my wife's best friend and was the matron of honor at our wedding while the dad-to-be was one of the ushers.

I like the couple a lot. They're really great people. I just don't really want to be at a baby shower where people are going to be goo-gooing over a bunch baby clothes. Lord knows that its going to kick her uge to have a rugrat of our own into high gear (been married 6 months, I don't want kids for at least another year).

I know at one point they were thinking about getting some beer and a deck of cards and sending all the guys off to the side. Unfortunately they're having the shower at a methodist or baptist church and they seem to frown on that kind of thing. Should of had it at a catholic church...

Just picking my battles. I should be getting double the normal Husband Points for this. That way I can afford the Earguards of "Why Didn't You Call?" Protection.

Are those redeemable for <ahem> non-procreative carnal acts?

You all know exactly what avenue this thread is going. Four other threads needed to be locked for going to the bad place, don't make this five.

But what does this all have to do with the Sister Psyche TF?

Yeah. I thought you were supposed to be playing this game to bother with this forum...

Anyway, I'll be there at Noon, Pacific time, and I'll have to bail 4.5 hours later, unconditionally.  Still have a Doc Vaj mission to take down if there's time.

Nothing like having the server slowly crumble around you as you've just entered the Really Big Combat...

I'll keep checking, but Victory's currently showing as Down.

Yeah, that was very weird.  To their credit, the server was only screwed up for about five minutes or so, then down for another two or three, and when everybody logged back on the task force continued on with just one mission to restart.  So that wasn't too bad.
