I'm just wondering if it already had fuel in it, or if they somehow found enough Diesel to get it going.

There's the T34 that was sitting in a bog in Lativa(?) for 50 years. Once they got it out, cleaned the engine, I belive it worked.

Actually the person who hijacked it used to be a tank driver in the army, and they brought their own batteries / fusing to make the tank operational.

It ran out of fuel after going 100m, though. :P
